Dr Sara Keller presents research at Pint Of Science event at James Street Tavern, Oxford, UK

On Monday, May 13, Beyond Antibiotics research team member, Dr Sara Keller participated in the annual UK-wide Pint Of Science event at James Street Tavern. The theme of the evening was “Our Society”, where she presented her work using ultrasound and microbubbles as a novel antibiotic and discussed the implications of the increasing burden of AMR globally. Engagement events like this are a fun way to communicate research and ideas with the public and provides a way for researchers to learn how to effectively communicate difficult concepts to a lay audience.
